Celebrities and Influencers are finally letting people know they are using CBD products and how much it is helping them. CBD is literally infused in everything—you can drink it, you can bathe in it, you can rub it on head to toe. It seems a lot of Hollywood’s biggest names are doing just that. The latest wellness trend (CBD has been transforming the self-care industry, thanks to its alleged calming effects on the body and mind), A-listers including Jennifer Aniston, Alessandra Ambrosio, Kristen Bell, Emma Roberts, Whoopi Goldberg, Busy Phillips, and Kim Kardashian, are some of CBDs biggest proponents.
Kim Kardashian an American media personality, model, businesswoman, socialite and actress praises to CBD. She explained to Poosh: “I’ve been a huge fan of CBD ever since I started feeling overwhelmed, which came with starting law school and having a fourth baby.” She also hosted a CBD-themed baby shower and admits that she’s fond of CBD gummies that help her fall asleep.
Brazillian model Alessandra Ambrosio uses CBD to calm her nerves and anxiety before the show. On a daily basis, she also drinks CBD infused water to boost her health. Here’s what she says: “The most important thing to do is to sleep eight hours the night before. It’s hard because the mind gets anxious, so I try CBD and I think it helps.”
What is CBD?
CBD (cannabidiol) is one of 100+ cannabinoids found in the cannabis family plants. CBD is non psychoactive and has a robust therapeutic profile. CBD is closely related to THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol), another active phytocannabinoid that made marijuana famous for the “high” effect it produces on the nervous system.
What does all of this mean?
The support of celebrities with extensive reach and large fan bases with an eye for trends bodes well.
